After completion of his job the employee will bring the source back to the radiation lab area and place it in its numbered location. He will log in the source name and serial number, recording the time of day and date. He will also record the source location. He will then go through a calibration procedure for one minute, after striking ok on the calibration icon. The employee then hits enter and the source is secure.

This completes the source extraction and logging out and in of a source. We have the capability of having one employee swapping a source with another employee. In this case a supervisor will give the employees a number that will allow the sources swapped to be returned without an alarm.
