| Alpha Neutronics has designed a system that will record the use of radioactive materials used by the industry. The system keeps an inventory of every source used or kept in inventory. Not only is the source security maintained, but the activity is updated to insure the employee knows the strength of the source at the time of use. The security system is guarded by pass words for every employee. An employee cannot look at another employee’s records. If an employee comes into the radiation area to acquire a source for a job he or she will first type their name into the program using the display for Figure 1. Each employee will have their own pass word know only by the employee and management. Once this is done the screenshot shown on Page 2 comes up. |
